Distribution Automation
The SSPGS Load Break Switch is a padmount fully deadfront switch for underground power distribution systems up to 25.8kV and 630A.
For safe and fast operation the design combines puffer load break switches and vacuum fault interrupters, as well as earth switches for every switch combination.
Every bushing can be fitted with a set of current transformers and voltage sensors (-INT option), so all electrical values of the connected distribution system can be measured. The switch can also be remotely operated from system control rooms if it is fitted with SCADA-mate control (based on SEL-551 or SEL-501-2 relay) and RTU.

SSPGS- INT
Every bushing in SSPGS- INT Pad Mounted Load Break Switch has a current transformer and voltage sensor, so most electrical values of connected distribution system can be measured. If the optional SCADA-mate control and RTU unit is used, this switchgear can be operated from a system control centre
SSPGS-MANUAL
The SSPGS-MANUAL Pad Mounted Load Break Switch operates manually without any control unit and any power supply.

- Front ground circuit bushings for easy cable access, installation and testing
- SF6 Gas Insulation enclosed in lifetime sealed stainless steel tank. Less than 0.2% leakage rate per year, with normal insulation and interruption performance even at atmospheric gas pressure
- Fault interrupter Spring charge mechanism ensures rapid Open-Close-Open performance
