Underground Cable Link Boxes
The AEM Underground power transmission cable sheath earthing link box family delivers a safe, reliable solution for minimising or eliminating circulating cable sheath earth currents in HV and EHV cable systems. The AEM sheath earthing system consists of cross bonding, single point earth and direct (3 phase) earthing enclosures. Correctly designed and sheath earth bonded power transmission cables can reduce circulating sheath current energy losses by more than 40%. Fully environmentally sealed, explosion proof, robust and easy to install, the AEM link box family is a first choice for cable designers, installers and owners.

- All 316 Stainless Steel construction for long term corrosion resistance.
- Enclosure lid secured and sealed with multi-point captive, self aligning and centering fastener system
- Lid clamps onto a captive, single piece wide silicone rubber seal for easy and reliable sealing in the typically dirty conditions ecountered in cable pits.
